夜雨寄北 Yè Yǔ Jì Běi [night] [rain] [send] [north] Sent North in Night Rain
君問歸期未有期， Jūn wèn guīqī wèi yǒuqī, [sir] [ask] [return] [time] [not yet] [have] [time] You ask the time of my return, but there is not a time;
巴山夜雨漲秋池。 Bāshān yè yǔ zhǎng qiū chí. [Ba] [mountain] [night] [rain] [rise] [autumn] [pool] on Mt. Ba, the night rain swells autumnal pools.
何當共剪西窗燭， Hé dāng gòng jiǎn xī chuāng zhú, [what] [at] [together] [cut] [west] [window] [candle] When can we together cut the candle by the west window,
卻話巴山夜雨時。 què huà Bāshān yè yǔ shí. [yet] [speak] [Ba] [mountain] [night] [rain] [time] and speak of the time of night rain on Mt. Ba?
