Put Facebook into your target language

If you use Facebook, there’s a very quick and easy way to get some extra practice in your target language.

Facebook has translations for Chinese (in three different character sets), Japanese and Korean. Just click the globe icon in the bottom right and select your language.

You can learn a wider range of vocabulary than you might think. Apart from the obvious stuff for a social network, there are various bits and pieces in the interface that can be quite useful to know, especially for filling in forms.

Combined with setting preferred browsing languages, having Facebook in your target language can add quite a bit of low-effort practice to your daily routine.
